under my old mans name for a 1l corsa 2000, 3yrs ncb and 2 bumps in 2007 it was 1.4k.

what type off can mate,Heinz or an own brand? and the contents? beans or peas?

have you tried tesco insurance? also try other family members addresses,it is a postcode lotto,your going for cars that most r plate drivers go for,typical corsa,clio fiestas etc are always worse to insure,try a skoda fabia,kia creed etc something that is not in the hot hatch class

You're not going to get cheap insurance anywhere especially been so young and only just passed. Look at getting a 1.0 car, if you want to go more your going to get raped on insurance, it's best in your own name to boost those no claims to lower your insurance a lot. I've been on my fathers insurance for 4 years as I can't afford to get my own, even on a 1.2!!! but I have 3 points from 4 years ago, when i was young and speeding about.

All i suggest is to ring around getting quotes and a 1.0 car eg peugeot 106 under your name and go from there, try cis, coop insurance, they've allways quoted me the best prices.

corsa is the cheapest by far, 1.4 for 1lt, or 1.6k for a 1.2lt.

Puntos, 106, fiestas want 1.7 - 2k for 1lt total joke.

Cant really afford skoda fabia,kia creed as they want 1000s for the cars and then most likely 1000s for the insurance.

I know i can pick up a corsa for 250 lol.

the admiral multi car policy as mentioned before is worth looking into if you have a couple other cars in the household you can put on it too, my bro is 17 and has just done this for a peugeot 106 1.4 xsi, worked out at 975 for his part of it all told.

or go with elephant and pretend the car isnt used to drive to work and back
